We know you are all preparing for Christmas. Depending on our individual experiences our approach to the holiday can have its bliss and or its woes. Personally for Kim, after her mom’s passing in 1996 Christmas was never the same. Gary’s mom was born on Christmas Day in the hills of Virginia now buried on Christmas Mountain where she was born.
It is likely we will all be missing someone this year, someone who gave us reason to feel our worth. The good news is the One Who’s birth we’re preparing to celebrate is alive within us right now, living to celebrate our worth to Him in return. Christmas was only the beginning of what had a predetermined ending. It was in that ending that our worth to Him was demonstrated in fullness. “Your hearts can soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made YOU WORTHY to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the LIGHT.” (Col 1:12) You were and now are worth His life given because Our Father said so.
Enjoy the reality of the love given with your name on it, the love of God that has taken up residence in you so that you would never be alone again. Feel your worth: you’ve never been more loved than you are right now.
