Faith As The Bottom Line

Much like Abraham, we waited with God to do what He said in His Word and in our hearts, what only He could do. As a result, we encountered the pleasures of His heart. So many times, we hear faith used as a means to an end. However, we encountered a deeper dimension, the relational reward of faith: His increasing pleasure with us. It is, after all, impossible to please Him without it.

Where the culture conditions us to take what we want for ourselves, faith conditions us to receive what we cannot get for ourselves. When you hear the dares we took to know Him in the romantique, you will be emboldened to take God at His word and follow His voice into receiving a gift only He can bring. Faith in God is so much more than a ticket to Heaven; faith is a way of life and includes our love life. Everyone wants the faith of Abraham, yet not everyone wants his journey until they see what faith does for our Father's heart.
